Ethiopia is the birthplace of some of the world’s most extraordinary coffee, home to unique heirloom beans with flavors found nowhere else. Among the most renowned varieties are Harrar, Limu, Sidama, and Yirgacheffe, each with its own distinctive character.

Harrar coffee holds a special place in my heart. I grew up in a city in the Harrar region, surrounded by villages cultivating these exquisite beans. Two decades later, when I returned to my hometown of Diredawa, every cup of coffee I drank was unforgettable—bold, chocolatey, with notes of blueberry, mocha, and wine-like richness, and a natural luster that sets it apart.

Inspired by this experience, I became determined to share the well-kept secret of Harrar coffee beans—and all the incredible varieties of Ethiopian coffee—with the world. At Land of Origins Coffee, our mission is to bring you the authentic flavors, traditions, and magic of Ethiopian coffee, roasted in small batches to preserve every nuance and aroma.
